"A Collection Of Metal" e' una raccolta di successi, dal 1979 al 1988, della mitica band inglese dei Saxon. Il gruppo, capitanato dal carismatico vocalist Biff Bruford, e' uno dei complessi che fecero nascere la NWOBHM in Inghilterra ottenendo un enorme successo in tutto il mondo. I Saxon grazie ad album come "Wheels of steel", "Heavy metal thunder", "Strong arm of the law" sono ormai divenuti una leggenda del metal, come lo dimostrano i grandiosi concerti, l'ultimo disco "The Inner Sanctum", che fanno ancora oggi.
